View from my room

I live in a 3 bedroom apartment with my parents( I wish it were a house instead....) but it's fine. The only thing I love is that I have sometimes the greatest views! So I thought I should share!

In this last picture you can see a little bit of a small mountain which is not far( something like 20 minutes walk to reach the base). I climbed it when I was little every week, which reminds me that it's been a while since then. I should probably make a visit soon:P

Hope you liked the pictures! Have a great day or evening!

Song of the day

I love music! So I've decided to share what I like.
The song of the day is:   BLONDIE-ONE WAY OR ANOTHER  ( you can find it here, so you don't have to search it:P)
I love it!It's absolutely amazing, the rhythm and I think Deborah Harry's voice is great!
Here is their official website:Blondie

Nature pictures

I love taking pictures!!! In the woods, on the streets , I enjoy taking pictures about every little thing that is funny or which I like!
Today I'm gonna share some pictures I took when I went with my family and Gabe somewhere near Brasov where we had a grill. It was great!  I took a bunch of pictures with some mushrooms, some frogs and lizards and a myriapod.

Can you believe that these are actually some tiny little mushrooms?they sure don't look like to me

Have you noticed the limax chewing on that mushroom? I didn't...not until I got home and looked at the pictures on my computer

Honestly, I don't really like this myriapod but since I spotted him on a tree I thought a picture won't kill me:P

Love this lizard!

And I also love this tiny froggy

Hope you enjoyed them! Have a great day!

Book Review- "Diary of a Genius" by Salvador Dali

Horizon Book
Due to the fact that I absolutely love reading! I decided I should make a monthly post with book reviews.
I finished high school at fine arts specialized in painting and when I discovered Dalis books I knew I had to read them.

"Diary of a genius" can easily be called a masterpiece.A great autobiographical book which provides the reader with Salvador Dalis view on different aspects of his life, his relationship to Gala, his thoughts and obsessions. This book gives you an idea of his lifestyle and about the surrealistic cultural movement.

Interesting facts- STRAWBERRIES

I thought it would be a great idea to post every week a new interesting fact! Sometimes you find out really amazing things! And who knows...maybe they can even be helpful.
The first interesting fact is about....Strawberries! I love them! With ice cream, chocolate, on cakes and tarts with whipped cream, honey or sugar or just plain strawberries! They are absolutely amazing!
Strawberry is not a fruit, it is a receptacle(In botany, the receptacle is the thickened part of a stem from which the flower organs grow. In some accessory fruit, for example the pome and strawberry, the receptacle gives rise to the edible part of the fruit).California is the largest producer of strawberries with almost 20000 acres dedicated to growing the fruit. Surprisingly the entire land of the USA is considered to be fertile for growing strawberries. If consumed in the right amount this fruit can fill in almost 20% of human body's daily requirement for folic acid and 140% of Vitamin C. It is the only fruit with the seeds on the skin and a strawberry on an average has 200 seeds.
Strawberries are considered to be a fruit of love making and flirtation. Some people believe that strawberries are symbol of Venus (Goddess of Love).InterestingFacts
What's for lunch honey?

If I gave you a desire for strawberries(which I do hope so:P) here is a link with some recipes: Spatulas,Corkscrews & Suitcases.

Enjoy! and have a great day!

My First Post! Meet The Family

As my first post I thought it would be nice for you to meet the person and the two creatures:P that inspired me(more or less) to do this blog.

This cute dog is Lory...She was my birthday present 5 years ago, from my parents, who got her from the dog shelter. She's so lively and loves to be in the center of attention and be petted.

Shiloh here is also saved! What can I say...I can't resist seeing an animal that is abandoned or injured and not save him. My brother actually found her and her 3 little sisters near a supermarket. They were about 1 week old and they have stood all day in the sun! That is just cruel! So I took them home and took care of them. I kept Shiloh because she was in a terrible condition and she almost died, my boyfriend took another one which he named Lint! :)) and the other two we took them to a house near the city. (I will make a post about them and show you pictures)
And here is us! My boyfriend Gabe and me.That day we made a hike on Mount Postavarul, in November. It was freezing cold and we couldn't wait to reach the cabin to have a nice hot tea! It was a great day!
